Realme GT 5 Pro Teasers Unveil USB 3.2 Port and Up to 1TB Storage

Realme enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the unveiling of the Realme GT 5 Pro flagship, scheduled for December 7 upto 1TB Storage . In the latest teaser video, the company provided a sneak peek into the smartphone’s internals, showcasing a powerful 50MP, 3x zoom, Sony IMX890 periscope telephoto camera and an alternative Starry Night color variant featuring a sleek non-leather back panel.

New teaser images have added more excitement to the mix, revealing that the Realme GT 5 Pro will offer users an impressive storage option of up to 1TB. Additionally, the phone will come equipped with USB 3.2 connectivity, promising a data link speed purportedly 10 times faster than USB 2.0. While the USB nomenclature can be confusing, the speed hints suggest the use of a 5Gbps controller, also recognized as USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 or USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.0.

Moving on to the expected specifications, the Realme GT 5 Pro is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch, slightly curved 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate and a “1.5K” resolution, likely mirroring the GT5’s 1,240 x 2,772px. The display boasts a peak local brightness of 4,500 nits and a peak global brightness of 1,600 nits, along with advanced features such as DC dimming and 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Notably, the display offers a touch sampling frequency of 2,160Hz.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring robust performance. Thanks to a retailer mix-up, the expected cost of the phone is revealed to be CNY 3,500, translating to $500/€450/₹42,000, excluding local taxes.

As the anticipation builds, tech enthusiasts await the official launch to experience the Realme GT 5 Pro’s cutting-edge features firsthand.
