Vivo has officially launched its latest midrange Vivo S18 series offerings, the S18, S18 Pro, and S18e, introducing a blend of captivating designs and advanced camera capabilities. The S18 and S18 Pro, sharing a curved display design, stand out with their distinctive brocade elements etched on the back glass. The large camera island, a focal point of the design, is split into two squares, hosting cutting-edge camera technology and the innovative AuraLight LED.
The S18 Pro showcases an impressive camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto module with 2x optical zoom. On the other hand, the S18 boasts a 50MP main shooter with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both models incorporate a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The front-facing 50MP camera, nestled in a punch hole cutout, boasts a 90-degree field of view and autofocus, complemented by dual soft LED flash sensors.
Distinguishing themselves in terms of processing power, the S18 Pro opts for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ chipset, while the S18 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Both phones run on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 and house a robust 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The pricing for the Vivo S18 series starts at CNY 2,299 ($322), while the S18 Pro begins at CNY 3,199 ($448). Open sales for the S18 kick off on December 22, with the S18 Pro becoming available from January 13.
In a parallel release, the S18e offers a more budget-friendly option with a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display, Dimensity 7200 chipset, and a 50MP main sensor. The device runs on OriginOS 4, backed by a 4,800 mAh battery with 80W charging. Priced at CNY 2,099 ($294) for the 12/256GB variant and CNY 2,299 ($322) for the 12/512GB model, the S18e will be available for purchase in China starting January 13.
