Vivo Y27s Launches with Snapdragon 680 and IP54 Rating

Vivo has unveiled its latest addition to the Y-series, the Vivo Y27s, in Indonesia. This smartphone brings several notable upgrades compared to its predecessors, the Vivo Y27 and Y27 5G, including an improved punch-hole display.

The Vivo Y27s boasts a 6.64-inch LED LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole cutout houses an 8MP front-facing camera, and the device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button for added security.

Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset powers the Y27s, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and a choice of 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. On the rear, you’ll find a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 2MP depth camera, similar to the other two models in the Y27 series. Notably, the Y27s stands out with its IP54 water and dust resistance rating, providing extra durability.

The phone runs on Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, offering a seamless user experience. It is powered by a generous 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging, ensuring you stay connected all day.

In Indonesia, the pricing for this device starts at IDR 2,399,000 ($153) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and IDR 2,799,000 ($179) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version.
