iQOO Neo9 Series to Debut on December 27 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 Models
Excitement is building as iQOO announces the official launch date for its much-anticipated Neo9 series, set to debut on December 27. The lineup boasts two powerful smartphones – the iQOO Neo9 featuring the robust Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and the iQOO Neo9 Pro equipped with the cutting-edge Dimensity 9300 platform. Adding to the allure, both phones will integrate a dedicated Q1 chip tailored for e-sports, mirroring the innovation seen in the iQOO 12 Pro.
The Neo9 series promises a visual treat with three color options, as revealed in the official teaser. While a dual-color variant has already been showcased, users can also expect sleek Blue and Black versions, maintaining the distinct two-camera design with the “Neo” branding elegantly placed beneath the lenses.
In addition to the smartphones, iQOO is set to unveil wireless earphones named iQOO TWS 1e and the iQOO Watch. Notably, these accessories are rebranded versions of the well-received vivo TWS 3e and vivo Watch 3, respectively.
A standout feature of the Neo9 series is the incorporation of the Q1 chip, a display driver chip crafted by vivo to enhance the gaming experience. This chip dynamically adapts to users’ preferences by identifying frequently played games, striving to maintain a remarkable 144 Hz refresh rate and quick start. It’s worth noting that this feature is currently limited to 135 popular games available in the Chinese market.
Leaks hint at impressive memory configurations for the Neo9 series, ranging from 12/256 GB to a top-tier version boasting a staggering 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
