Honor 90 GT Set to Debut in December 2022, Specifications Leaked

Honor, the Chinese smartphone giant, is gearing up to launch its much-anticipated successor to the Honor 80 GT, aptly named the Honor 90 GT. Following its predecessor’s unveiling in December 2022, the new device is expected to hit the Chinese market by the end of the same month. While specific details about the phone’s features remain undisclosed, leaks suggest it will build upon the legacy of the Honor 80 GT.

The Honor 80 GT, a flagship device, boasted the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Notably similar to the Honor 80 Pro, both phones shared the same chipset, battery, and charging capabilities. However, the Honor 80 GT differentiated itself with a flat display, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 54-megapixel triple rear camera setup.

Anticipating the Honor 90 GT’s specifications, it is expected to draw inspiration from the Honor 90 Pro. This suggests a flat OLED display and a single front-facing camera, departing from the curved-edge 6.78-inch OLED screen and a 50-megapixel dual front-facing camera setup. Operating on Magic OS 7.2-based Android 13, the 90 GT is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a robust 5,000mAh battery with 90W charging support.

While these specifications are speculative, there’s a possibility that the top variant of the Honor 90 GT might offer an impressive 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, aligning with its GT branding.

It is important to note that these details are based on assumptions, and caution should be exercised when considering this information. The official unveiling in December will provide clarity on the Honor 90 GT’s features and specifications.
