iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus Rumored to Feature Larger Displays and Periscope Cameras

In anticipation of the iPhone 15 series launch later this year, speculation surrounding the next-generation iPhone has already begun. Well-known Apple analyst Min-Chi Kuo has recently provided an update, revealing some exciting features expected in the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus models.

According to Kuo, the iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to boast a 6.3-inch screen diagonal, while the 16 Pro Max’s display is expected to increase to a generous 6.9 inches. These dimensions represent a 0.2-inch increase compared to the iPhone 14 Pro series.

The enlarged form factor of both iPhone 16 Pro models will enable Apple’s engineers to incorporate periscope camera sensors. This upgrade will bring improved zoom capabilities to the devices, with reports suggesting optical zoom levels of 5-6x. The periscope lenses for the iPhone 16 Pro models are anticipated to be supplied by Cowell E Holdings.

Additionally, there are speculations that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also feature a periscope lens, distinguishing it from the smaller iPhone 15 Pro variant. Furthermore, earlier reports have suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro series may introduce an under-display Face ID solution, leading to a more immersive full-view display experience.
