Oppo Find X9 Ultra Camera Setup Leaks with 200MP Main Sensor and Dual Periscope Zoom

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra camera leak has surfaced just a month after the Find X8 Ultra’s release, giving us an early look at its powerful upgrades. According to a new leak, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a cutting-edge quad-camera system led by a massive 200MP main sensor.

Oppo is sticking with the quad-camera design introduced in the Find X8 Ultra but is making major improvements. The new setup includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and two periscope telephoto cameras—one 200MP and one 50MP. Interestingly, the 50MP periscope lens is expected to double as a macro shooter, providing greater versatility for close-up photography.

For comparison, the Find X8 Ultra was equipped with four 50MP sensors, making this a significant step forward in imaging technology. These upgrades signal Oppo’s ambition to lead the ultra-premium smartphone photography market.

Under the hood, the Find X9 Ultra is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite chipset. The device is also expected to sport a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with a “2K+” resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a high-end viewing experience.

On the software front, the smartphone will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Oppo is expected to unveil ColorOS 16 between July and September, well ahead of the Find X9 Ultra’s anticipated launch in March 2025.

With these camera and hardware enhancements, Oppo is clearly preparing to make the Find X9 Ultra a top contender in the flagship smartphone space.
