Oppo has introduced its latest addition to the A-series lineup with the debut of the Oppo A18 in the United Arab Emirates. This new smartphone offers entry-level specifications and bears a striking resemblance to the recently launched Oppo A38.
The Oppo A18 boasts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a speedy 90Hz refresh rate. At the top of the screen, you’ll find a waterdrop notch housing a 5MP front-facing camera, while on the back, there’s an 8MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Notably, the A18 shares the same Helio G85 chipset as its counterpart, the A38. It comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further using a microSD card slot.
On the software side, the Oppo A18 runs on ColorOS 13.1, based on the latest Android 13 operating system. Powering the device is a substantial 5,000 mAh battery, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharging. The phone is available in two attractive color options: Glowing Black and Glowing Blue.
While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, it’s expected that Oppo will reveal this information in due course. For those in search of a budget-friendly smartphone with decent specifications, the Oppo A18 could be an appealing choice.
