Oppo A5 Global Launch Introduces A5 5G and A5x with Impressive Features
Oppo A5 is now officially launched alongside the A5 5G and A5x, expanding the brand’s budget-friendly smartphone lineup. These models have debuted on Oppo’s international site, offering a mix of affordability, performance, and long-lasting battery life.
Oppo A5 (4G)
The Oppo A5 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 (4G) chipset, it includes a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP monochrome sensor, and a 5 MP front-facing camera. A massive 6,000 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. It runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 and offers configurations up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage (LPDDR4X RAM + UFS 2.1). Available colors are Midnight Purple, Aurora Green, and Mist White.
Oppo A5 5G
The A5 5G upgrades the display to a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It keeps the same rear camera setup but has an improved 8 MP selfie camera. This model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, with LPDDR4X RAM and faster UFS 2.2 storage. It comes in 4/128GB, 6/128GB, and 8/256GB variants, available in Mist White and Aurora Green.
Oppo A5x
Oppo A5x mirrors the A5 4G’s specs but swaps the dual rear cameras for a single 32 MP sensor. It also comes in new color options – Midnight Blue and Laser White – with storage variants including 4/64GB, 4/128GB, 6/128GB, and 8/128GB.
Availability details are yet to be announced, but these phones are set to strengthen Oppo’s affordable smartphone offerings across global markets.
